We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated Global Project Manager to join our team, focusing on the Retail Payment and POS vertical. This role is key in driving customer success, ensuring seamless project management, and supporting global distributors. You will play a pivotal role in guiding new distributors, offering training and support, and coordinating between clients and R&D teams. This position requires significant travel and participation in industry expositions and shows to represent the company and its solutions on a global stage.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Customer Success & Support:
- Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by ensuring the successful deployment and usage of our Retail Payment and POS solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for distributors and clients, resolving issues and offering ongoing support.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and tailoring our solutions to help them succeed.
- Facilitate customer onboarding processes for new distributors, providing hands-on training, technical support, and guidance.
Project Management:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of projects for global distributors, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with internal teams.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and product teams, to ensure smooth execution of customer-facing projects.
- Monitor project performance, timelines, and budgets while managing risks to keep projects on track.
- Define clear goals for each project, align expectations, and maintain regular communication with all stakeholders.
Distributor Onboarding & Guidance:
- Onboard and train new distributors, ensuring they have a strong understanding of our products and are equipped to represent our solutions.
- Create and maintain training materials, product guides, and FAQs for distributors to ensure consistent communication and understanding.
- Provide ongoing guidance and strategy sessions to help distributors meet sales targets and develop regional market strategies.
Communication with R&D and Internal Teams:
- Act as a liaison between distributors and our R&D team to communicate technical issues, product feedback, and future feature requests.
- Facilitate regular updates to distributors on product developments, ensuring they remain informed of all new features and innovations.
Travel & Industry Participation:
- Participate in global industry expositions, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and its products.
- Travel to meet distributors and customers in various regions, providing hands-on support and relationship building.
- Stay current with global trends and advancements in the Retail Payment and POS space by engaging with industry thought leaders and influencers.
Key Goals:
- Achieve a high customer satisfaction rate and strong distributor retention.
- Ensure successful project completion within defined timelines and budgets.
- Enable distributors to meet or exceed sales targets through effective onboarding and support.
- Foster close collaboration between distributors and the R&D team to ensure continuous improvement of our solutions.
- Build the company's global presence through participation in key industry events and fostering relationships with new distributors.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Implementer in the retail, payments, or POS industry.
- Strong understanding of Retail Payment and POS systems (hardware & software) – a big advantage.
- Technical and product-oriented, with the ability to translate customer needs into clear product requirements.
- Excellent English skills- speaking, reading, and writing.
- Flexible, proactive, and hands-on, with willingness to work non-standard hours when needed.
- Willingness to travel internationally several times a year.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Proven experience in global roles- Is a Plus
- Customer-focused with a commercial mindset, experienced in presales and upselling – a plus.
