Press Technician

Job Summary

• This role is responsible for developing and approving innovative techniques, test programs, and procedures in response to emerging technologies, thereby actively driving continuous improvement in operational capabilities. The role assists in planning and coordinating support plans to optimize support operations. The role serves as a technical resource and escalation point for team members, ensuring adherence to documented escalation procedures for prompt issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough research, analysis, and recommendations for the implementation of new technologies, standards, processes, tools, and techniques.
• Acts as a technical resource and point of escalation for team members, providing technical expertise and guidance and ensuring timely adherence to documented escalation procedures, thereby resolving issues promptly.
• Develops and approves innovative techniques, fresh test programs and procedures as required, based on emerging technical developments, ensuring cutting-edge solutions.
• Drives continuous improvements in operational capabilities and troubleshooting processes to enhance overall performance.
• Assists in planning, communicating, and coordinating support plans with customer management to optimize support operations.
• Prioritizes and manages various projects and workloads to meet operational goals efficiently.
• Coordinates departmental work, identifies improvement opportunities, and ensures effective business controls for streamlined processes.
• Leads and assigns responsibilities for complex requests, contributing innovative concepts, and implementing changes for process improvement.
• Proactively monitors and troubleshoots complex problems, collaborating with exempt-level employees to develop recommendations.
• Analyzes tasks, collaborates with internal partners, and provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level roles, aiming to enhance organizational performance.

Education & Experience Recommended

• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 8+ years of related work experience, preferably in equipment operation and troubleshooting , or a related field.
