Job Description:

  • Leading a team of researchers in handling and investigating cross-sector cyber incidents within SIEM monitoring systems at Tier 3 level.
  • Leading processes for creating monitoring rules in SIEM systems.
  • Defining use-case scenarios in SOAR monitoring environments.
  • Conducting research in monitoring domains.
  • Supervising and overseeing deliverables.
  • Formulating monitoring strategies and Best Practices methodologies in monitoring environments.
  • Conducting research based on Big Data.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience as a Cyber Researcher.
  • Extensive research experience in two or more of the following areas: malware research, vulnerability research, forensics research, advanced communication protocol research, penetration testing, reverse engineering, deriving research insights from intelligence-technology data.
  • Experience developing advanced research-supporting tools.
  • Broad, advanced, and proven knowledge of various systems and protocols.
  • Extensive knowledge in cyber-attack methodologies and the cyber kill chain model.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in network analysis, including TCP/IP communication protocols.
  • Knowledge and experience in designing monitoring strategies and deep investigation using monitoring systems, including strong familiarity with security systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in defining and implementing complex monitoring Use Cases.
  • Knowledge and experience handling complex cyber incidents, including producing monitoring research reports based on findings at Tier 2 level and above.
  • Relevant academic education.
