Job position: Network Engineer

About us:

Nanosek is looking for a talented Network Engineer to join our growing technical team. We are a boutique System, Network and Security partner with almost 20 years of experience in mission-critical systems including Public and Private Cloud / Hybrid Cloud.

Role Description:

We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our and customers network infrastructure. You will be part of a network engineering team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures

Responsibilities

  • Design, implementation, support, and improvement of Data Center environments.
  • Configure and install various devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
  • Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
  • Provide professional support and troubleshooting to resolve network and security issues.
  • Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Requirements and skills

  • At least 3 years of proven hands-on network engineering experience with vendors:

  • CCNP - mandatory
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols:

  • IPSEC
  • VPC/VSF/VSX/VCP
  • QOS
  • Deep knowledge of basic network application and services:
  • DNS/Secure DNS
  • DHCP
  • SSL/HTTPS
  • SMTP/POP/Email services
  • FTP/TFTP/SFTP
  • SDWAN
  • Cloud and virtualization (advantage):
  • Understanding Cloud environment from the networking side.
  • Ability to review cloud network and security configuration:
  • NatGW
  • LB
  • Security policies / ACL
  • IAM
  • Transit gW
  • WAF
  • API GW

  • Application load balancer

  • Solid understanding of the OSI TCP/IP model

  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools

Language:

English – good knowledge

Hebrew – basic knowledge

Important notes:

The position includes work on Friday and Saturday and nights from time to time.
