Job Description:

  • Conduct risk assessments for organizational systems.
  • Identify vulnerabilities in existing systems as well as systems in deployment or implementation phases.
  • Review system hardening configurations against industry-standard benchmarks.
  • Perform regulatory compliance assessments in accordance with financial-sector regulations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of compensating controls.
  • Provide recommendations for mitigating and remediating identified vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective resolution and closure of security gaps.
  • Work within a professional
    Purple Team
    environment.

Requirements:

  • At least
    2 years of experience
    performing risk and security assessments, with emphasis on infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with common assessment methodologies.
  • Knowledge of hardening standards across a variety of systems and platforms.
  • Understanding of networking and operating systems.
  • Experience configuring and hardening cloud environments, especially
    Azure
    and
    AWS
    .
  • Strong ability to write clear, professional security reports.
