A global high-tech company is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to take full ownership of the company's global bookkeeping operations. The role includes end-to-end management of all accounting processes, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant financial operations across all global activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for all global entities, including P&L and Balance Sheet reporting.
• Analyze invoices and expense reports, assigning charges to the correct accounts and cost centers.
• Handle payroll operations: data preparation, attendance management, benefits administration, reconciliations, and end-to-end payroll processing.
• Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reviews, and expense report processing.
• Prepare and submit VAT reports and tax withholding documentation to global authorities.
• Ensure compliance with all reporting obligations to institutions such as Social Security and the IRS.
• Process and reconcile accounts payable invoices, including executing payments.
• Record prepaid expenses, amortizations, and relevant journal entries.
• Support monthly close activities, including reconciliations, reviews, and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate and updated ledgers, ensuring continuous audit readiness.
• Prepare reports and reconciliations for auditors and management as needed.

Requirements

• Certified Bookkeeper with a minimum of 4 years of full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll experience.
• Experience in global or technology-driven companies – strong advantage.
• High proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite – advantage).
• Very high level of English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Independent, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with multi-currency environments and intercompany accounting.
