Makor Group is looking for a
Junior Developer
with a strong analytical mindset and programming skills to work on data integration, reconciliation, and automation tasks. You will work with data coming from multiple sources — including
files (Excel, CSV), databases, and APIs
— to identify patterns, ensure data consistency, and develop efficient scripts to automate data flows and validation.

Key responsabilities:

  • Collect, process, and transform data from various sources (files, databases, APIs).
  • Build scripts in
    Python, Bash, or equivalent languages
    to automate data extraction, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Reconcile data between systems, identify mismatches, and help investigate inconsistencies.
  • Analyze data to find patterns, anomalies, or optimization opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of internal data pipelines and tools.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business teams to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Document code, workflows, and data-handling procedures.

Requirements:

  • 0–2 years
    of experience in a development or data-related role.
  • Good knowledge of
    Python
    (pandas, requests, etc.) and/or
    Bash scripting
    .
  • Familiarity with
    data formats
    (CSV, Excel, JSON, XML) and
    database queries (SQL)
    .
  • Understanding of
    REST APIs
    and how to interact with them programmatically.
  • Solid grasp of basic data cleaning, transformation, and reconciliation techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies related to data processing and automation.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with AWS cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with Git version control system.
  • Exposure to data visualization or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Understanding of ETL processes or data pipelines.
