As our Senior Fullstack Developer, you will lead the development of a new species of web and data-driven applications that change the way we interact with documents and data. This is a one-man-show type of role, where you will have ownership across the stack — with a tilt towards backend, data, and AI/analytics platforms.

This key role offers a rare opportunity to build from the ground applications that will disrupt and redefine the document experience, for the first time since Adobe, and create a lasting technical legacy.

You will…

  • Plan, design, and build Factify's document and data applications from the ground up.
  • Be responsible for development of best-in-class web experience, while tackling fascinating intertwined challenges involving performance, scale, security, UX, data, and AI.
  • Work closely with data scientists, bringing AI, data, and analytics into production-grade applications.
  • Build and integrate with big data platforms (Apache, Spark, Hadoop, Elasticsearch).
  • Create a robust and complete development lifecycle including testing, deployment, monitoring, and tooling.
Requirements

You have…

  • A passion for, and knowledge in, web and data development that can only be defined as witchcraft and wizardry.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a fullstack engineer, with proven backend and data-oriented strengths.
  • Native tongue proficiency in Python for backend (Go – a plus for familiarity) and JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend (React, ).
  • Experience building impressive frontend systems from the ground up, from design to production and customer support.
  • Intimate hands-on experience with cross-platform technologies such as Electron.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with big data platforms: Apache ecosystem, Spark, Hadoop, Elasticsearch.
  • Worked in close collaboration with backend teams, data scientists, product teams, and UX designers.
  • Proven experience working across teams, leading projects and collaborating with other functions.
  • Superb problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dev team environment.
