Job Description
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll work as part of Wix's CTO Office team alongside researchers on cutting-edge problems to give Wix's products a competitive advantage. Your work will span challenges in vision models, LLM-based agentic architectures, reinforcement learning, reasoning, and more. In your day-to-day, you will:

  • Build the infrastructure and data for training models
  • Collaborate with researchers and Wix product teams to design and integrate AI models
  • Run POCs
  • Explore cutting-edge solutions that can be the next strategic direction for Wix
  • Brainstorm and research novel ideas in various fields

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in building and deploying models to production
  • BSc in computer science or a related field
  • Programming skills in Python and experience with modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain)
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale training
  • Strong knowledge of deep learning models and common architectures such as transformer models, LLMs, CNNs, and RNNs
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Open-source contributions to ML/AI frameworks – an advantage

We are Wix's Data Science CTO Office team, a small group of researchers and engineers. We collaborate with various groups at Wix and the CEO on diverse research projects, ranging from new features for Wix products to exploring areas that could provide Wix with a strategic edge.
