Company Description
We are developing a new block builder to democratize and counter centralization in the Ethereum ecosystem. Our block builder augments the capabilities of the Ethereum network and enables new Defi primitives.
Role Description
We're seeking an experienced Ethereum backend developer profi cient in deep blockchain protocols and Rust to join our team. In this role, you will:
● Design high-performance systems optimized for low latency and scalability, with direct impact on the mainnet, contributing to a fairer and more effi cient Ethereum network.
● Design and develop scalable backend services in Rust, focusing on ultra‑low latency and high throughput for Ethereum payload submission and block construction.
● Architect and implement builder-relay payload protocols (e.g. MEV‑Boost), enabling in‑slot timing optimization, censorship‑resistance, and ultra‑parallelized block generation.
● Optimize system performance through advanced Rust practices and low‑level orchestration.
● Infl uence critical protocol decisions and drive measurable mainnet improvements through your expertise.
Qualifications
● Strong understanding of Ethereum protocols, including PBS/MEV‑Boost fl ows, fork‑choice logic, slot/epoch timing, and relay security.
● Expertise in Rust (async, zero‑cost abstractions, performance tuning); familiarity with Go or C++ is a plus. ● Profi ciency in Python for simulation, data analysis, and tooling.
● 10+ years of experience, at least 2 years in building on top of off-chain protocols.
● Experience with revm, reth/geth internals, or similar blockchain development tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Prior contributions to core Ethereum clients, EIPs, or open‑source MEV tooling.
● Hands‑on with Kubernetes, Docker, and bare‑metal performance tuning.
