Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a
Collections Specialist & Junior Bookkeeper
. This role combines responsibility for collections with basic bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and timely customer payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounts receivable process, including issuing invoices and following up on outstanding payments.
  • Conduct regular collection activities via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Record daily financial transactions and assist in maintaining accurate ledgers.
  • Support bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and basic journal entries.
  • Assist the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing tasks.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Up to 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or basic bookkeeping.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to collections.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
