SOS CLOUD is looking for a Technical Support Representative / IT Specialist. You will join a team of skilled IT professionals, working together to provide top-notch technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless IT operations for our clients.
You will collaborate closely with your team, contributing to problem-solving, sharing knowledge, and ensuring tasks are handled efficiently and professionally. This role offers the opportunity to grow your technical expertise while directly impacting client satisfaction and operational success.
Job Description:
As a Technical Support Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, assisting them with IT-related issues, troubleshooting technical problems, and providing prompt and professional support. You will work closely with our technical teams to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside senior IT specialists to assess, prioritize, and assign tasks efficiently.
- Manage and maintain enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including Windows & Linux servers, virtualization platforms, cloud environments (Azure), network devices, and security solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across endpoints, servers, networks, and cloud systems.
- Propose and implement improvements for network security, system automation, and operational reliability.
- Contribute technical expertise to IT projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Document processes, share best practices, and support a culture of continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, backup procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows & Linux systems, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, and NTFS/share permissions.
- Experience with networking: switches, routing, firewalls (e.g., FortiGate).
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (Azure).
- Knowledge of endpoint management, EDR tools, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Experience with DevOps concepts, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating with a senior-level team.
- Fluent in English and Hebrew (spoken and written).
- Strong organizational and project management skills to break down complex tasks into actionable steps.
