Your Impact
  • Leading, mentoring, and growing a team of backend engineers working on Iguazio's platform and open-source contributions
  • Owning the delivery of key features and initiatives, from discovery and design through implementation and integration
  • Driving architectural decisions and ensuring alignment with product and business goals
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with product, QA, and data science teams to deliver a seamless ML and generative AI experience
  • Encouraging engineering best practices, code quality, and operational excellence across the team
  • Contributing hands-on to the codebase when needed, setting the technical bar and leading by example
  • Bringing in innovation and technical exploration in areas like distributed systems, Kubernetes, and cloud-native infrastructure

Your Qualifications and Skills
  • 6 years of proven experience managing or leading engineering teams, including hiring, performance management, and career growth
  • Strong background in backend development and systems architecture, particularly with Python and/or Go
  • Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native technologies
  • Deep understanding of the Kubernetes ecosystem and modern platform engineering practices
  • Track record of delivering production-grade systems, with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, and security
  • Passion for building high-performing teams and cultivating an environment of collaboration and accountability
