Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role
as an
IT Specialist
located in
Ramat Gan, Israel
. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for
network security, system administration, and IT infrastructure management
, including configuring
firewalls, routers, and switches
. You will work on ensuring the security and stability of our network environments, leveraging automation and AI tools to optimize IT operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain
    network security infrastructure
    (firewalls, routers, switches).
  • Manage
    L2, L3, and L4 network protocols
    with a deep understanding of the
    OSI Model
    .
  • Develop and maintain
    automation scripts
    (e.g., Python, Bash) to enhance system efficiency.
  • Utilize
    AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT)
    for troubleshooting, security analysis, and automation.
  • Perform
    system administration
    with expertise in
    Linux and some Windows
    environments.
  • Identify and resolve
    network security vulnerabilities
    and implement best security practices.
  • Troubleshoot
    network and system issues
    , ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Stay updated with
    emerging cybersecurity threats and solutions
    .
  • Document configurations, processes, and security policies for operational efficiency.
  • Handling fieldwork with customers, providing customer support, engaging in pre-sale activities

Qualifications

Deep understanding of network protocols (L2, L3, L4) and the OSI Model
.


Experience in configuring and managing firewalls, routers, and switches
.


Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation
.


Hands-on experience with Linux system administration
(Ubuntu, Kali) and familiarity with Windows.


Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
.


Ability to learn new concepts quickly
and adapt to evolving security challenges.


Experience with AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance security and IT efficiency
.


Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
.


Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
.


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field – an advantage
