Configuration Manager | Lod | Military Aircraft Division, Israel Aerospace Industries

We are looking for a
Configuration Manager
to join the Engineering and Development Department in the Military Aircraft Division at Israel Aerospace Industries.

The position includes:


• Managing product engineering processes, documentation, and tracking throughout the product lifecycle


• Controlling project configuration, including engineering oversight and documentation


• Working in a Configuration Management and PLM environment, implementing processes across the organization


• Preparing project Configuration Management Plans (CMP) and supervising their execution


• Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of product deliverables before release, including product structures, documents, drawings, and change records


• Managing product changes (ECO), coordinating Change Control Boards (CCB), and overseeing change approval processes


• Collaborating with contractors during audits and in-depth reviews


• Producing periodic configuration status reports and performing internal configuration audits such as PCA

What we're looking for:


• Academic degree or practical diploma in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering and Management – mandatory


• Experience in at least one of the following areas: Systems Engineering, Mechanical Design, Electronic Design, Configuration Management, or Configuration Control – strong advantage


• Proficiency in Excel – mandatory


• Good English skills (speaking, reading, and writing) – mandatory


• Experience with configuration management processes in defense companies – advantage


• Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 10007 – advantage


• Experience working with PLM/PDM systems – advantage


• Proven experience building multi-disciplinary product files – advantage
