Position Summary
We're looking for our first in-house
Bookkeeper / Accountant
to be a key member of our growing Finance team. This is a hands-on and independent role responsible for end-to-end bookkeeping across a global operation spanning Israel and the U.S. You'll own monthly financial closing processes, manage AP/AR cycles, and support continuous process improvement using systems such as
NetSuite, Avalara, and Salesforce
.

Location & Travel
We work in a hybrid model with 2 days work from home, and 3 days in our office in Caesarea, Israel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and execute day-to-day accounting activities across global entities.
• Lead monthly close processes, including workpapers, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, intercompany reconciliations, payroll journals, and prepaid expenses.
• Oversee global Accounts Payable, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments in a highly automated environment.
• Manage global Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, billing, and collections.
• Administer travel and employee reimbursement processes in line with company policy.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports to authorities in Israel, ensuring compliance with local requirements.
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and statutory regulations (VAT, Odfot, tax withholdings, etc.).
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability within the finance function.
• Support annual audits and assist in the preparation of financial statements.

Qualifications
Must Have

• 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, ideally in a dynamic or high-growth environment
• Certified Bookkeeper (Type 2 or higher)
• Proven experience in a tech, start-up, or multinational company managing multi-currency transactions
• Proficient in Excel
• Fluent in English, with strong written communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and a knack for organizing complex information
• Collaborative, service-minded approach with the ability to prioritize and deliver independently

Nice to Have

• Payroll Controller certification or hands-on payroll experience
• Experience working with NetSuite or implementing other modern finance systems
