We are looking for an experienced
Bookkeeper
to join a dynamic AI startup in Tel Aviv. This role will handle end-to-end payroll processes, financial reporting, and support accounting operations in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:
    Oversee vendor management, approvals, and timely payments.
  • Cash Reconciliation:
    Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and travel expenses.
  • Invoice Management:
    Track and process company invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments while reporting discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting:
    Prepare and support monthly financial statements, including cash flow, P&L, and balance sheets.
  • Statutory Reporting:
    Ensure timely submissions to ITA, Social Security, VAT, and other statutory requirements.
  • Fixed Assets:
    Maintain Fixed Assets software and post monthly depreciation entries.
  • Audit Support:
    Assist with the annual corporate audit and other financial reporting requirements.
  • Monthly and Quarterly Closing:
    Support closing processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Payroll Management:
    Responsible for the full salary process, from processing data to making payments. Serve as the main point of contact for employees regarding payroll, benefits, and related matters. Maintain communication with the company's pension manager and handle employee reimbursements. Ensure compliance with payroll laws and tax regulations.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks:
    Participate in various finance-related tasks and special projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Certified Bookkeeper (Type 3 preferred, Type 2 considered).
  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a global or tech-focused company.
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proficiency with
    Priority ERP
    and
    NetSuite
    (strong advantage).
  • High proficiency in
    MS Office
    , particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Experience with multi-currency systems is a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
