Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Tel Aviv University. The Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research, guiding student projects, publishing scholarly articles, and participating in departmental and university service activities. Additionally, the Professor will engage in mentoring students and contributing to the academic community both within and outside the university.

Qualifications

  • Strong teaching skills and experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven track record of research and publication in respected academic journals
  • Experience with curriculum development and academic program planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teaching and collaboration
  • Ability to guide and mentor students at both undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is required
  • Experience in the academic or higher education sector
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic settings
