Senior Algorithm Engineer – Image Processing & Computer Vision for Electro-Optical Systems
About the Role:
The Malam plant in the Missiles and Space Division is seeking a
Senior Algorithm Engineer
specializing in
Image Processing and Computer Vision
for complex electro-optical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop algorithmic solutions for target detection and tracking under low SNR and challenging environmental conditions.
- Gain system-level understanding of the problem space.
- Explore alternative solutions using a range of technologies (including Deep Learning).
- Collaborate with system engineers, physicists, software, and firmware engineers.
- Conduct performance analysis and support system implementation.
- Implement solutions using
Matlab / C++ / Python
.
Requirements:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in
Electrical Engineering
,
Computer Science
,
Physics
, or related field. - Proven experience in
algorithm development
for
Computer Vision
and
Image Processing
, particularly using
Deep Learning technologies
. - Familiarity with standard development tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid background in
statistics and probability
. - High work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
