Senior Backend Engineer

  • We move fast, building on a modern, scalable stack designed for high-performance data processing and ML/LLM operations - Golang, Huggingface, LangSmith, gRPC, ConnectRPC, Bufstream (Kafka-like, streaming platform), Redis, Kubernetes, Terraform, and ArgoCD. We heavily invest in DevEx with tools like Cursor and Okteto (read our case-study here: ) to ensure engineers can focus on delivering value.

You Are:

  • A seasoned backend engineer (6+ years) who thrives on building impactful, user-centric products from the ground up.
  • Experienced in designing and scaling modern microservices architectures (both BE and FE integration).
  • Capable of taking complex features from design to deployment, owning every stage of the backend lifecycle - while guiding others to do the same.
  • Pragmatic about code quality: confident refactoring, simplifying and deleting code when needed.
  • Comfortable leading code reviews, defining engineering standards and collaborating across product, design and infrastructure.

You will:

  • Be one of our first 15 engineers, shaping both our product and our engineering culture.
  • Define and evolve the backend architecture, infrastructure and development best practices for a fast-growing team.
  • Own features end-to-end - from concept and design discussions to implementation, deployment and observability.
  • Solve complex challenges in distributed systems, event-driven architectures and real-time data pipelines.
  • Continuously improve developer workflows - identify friction, integrate new tools, automate repetitive tasks and champion engineering excellence.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of engineers: drive planning, break down work, ensure quality delivery and help hire exceptional talent.
  • Collaborate with experienced peers - engineers, PMs and designers - who've built large-scale systems at top-tier companies.
