About the position

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong security mindset to join our team. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will design and implement DevOps processes and tools while ensuring the reliability, scalability and security of customer environments. This role includes taking ownership of complex projects, leading planning and execution, and proactively pushing initiatives forward when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud and hybrid infrastructures following best practices in operations, security and governance.
• Work hands-on with AWS in production environments, including deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters, including cluster level administration and incident handling.
• Develop and implement cloud automation and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, including writing modules and managing cloud environments entirely through code.
• Establish, improve and support CI/CD processes, and work closely with development teams to successfully adopt and integrate them.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices into cloud provisioning pipelines, including IaC scanning, policy enforcement, and automated compliance checks.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines that incorporate automated security testing to ensure secure, reliable releases.
• Monitor availability, performance and security of cloud environments using platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog or cloud native solutions.
• Improve infrastructure security through IAM, secrets management and privileged access solutions such as AWS IAM, Azure PIM and Hashicorp Vault.
• Collaborate with client IT, security and operations teams to identify gaps, troubleshoot issues and strengthen their cloud and security posture.
• Stay up to date with cloud security frameworks, tools and standards and share insights with internal teams and customers.
• Conduct cloud security architecture reviews, covering areas like network segmentation, IAM, encryption, third party integrations and alignment with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years
  of experience in DevOps.
• 1+ years
  of experience with
  containers and orchestration tools
  such as EKS, AKS, Docker or ArgoCD.
• Practical experience working with
  AWS
  in production environments.
• Hands-on
  Kubernetes experience at the cluster administration and troubleshooting level.
• Experience with
  IaC
  tools
  such as Terraform or CloudFormation, including writing Terraform modules and managing cloud environments through code.
• Strong understanding of
  DevOps practices
  including
  CI/CD
  and configuration management, plus experience setting up and improving CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience
  integrating code scanning tools
  into development workflows (SAST, SCA, IAST, container scanning, IaC scanning) is an advantage.
• AWS associate level certifications such as Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator are an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to take full ownership of projects and drive them forward.
