Our Lab
We study the cancer cells that survive chemotherapy and lead to relapse, which we term
persister
cells. We focus on high-risk neuroblastoma, a pediatric tumor with 50% mortality rates, and seek novel therapies to prevent relapse.
Dr. Liron Grossmann is a physician-scientist at the pediatric Hematology-Oncology Department at the Edmond and Lily Safra Children's Hospital, Sheba Medical Center and a visiting scientist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

Responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role for a bioinformatician at the Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer. The bioinformatician will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data obtained from single cell RNA sequencing, spatial transcriptomics and proteomics as wellas presenting findings. The bioinformatician will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in Israel, Germany and in the USA and contribute to scientific publications and grant proposals.
Qualifications
•MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics
•Enthusiasm and passion for science
•Experience in

•R and/or Python
•Analyzing Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data
•High communication skills
