We are looking for an experienced, hands-on IT Manager to own and lead the company's internal IT function end-to-end. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in modern SaaS environments and is comfortable being the go-to person for all IT-related matters, combining strategic ownership with day-to-day execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own the company's internal IT infrastructure, systems, and tools end-to-end.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all IT-related matters across the organization.
  • Design, implement, document, and maintain IT processes, policies, and workflows.
  • Serve as the first dedicated IT hire or operate as a one-person IT team, with the potential to scale the function over time.
  • Administer and optimize JumpCloud and Google Workspace in production environments.
  • Own identity and access management, including SSO, SAML/OIDC, SCIM, MFA, and group-based access control.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes and ensure proper access throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Own SaaS application selection, access governance, vendor relationships, and license management.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support across macOS, Windows, office networks, and common SaaS applications.
  • Own the full device lifecycle, including provisioning, security hardening, updates, and decommissioning.
  • Ensure reliable IT support for both office-based and remote employees.
  • Implement and maintain IT security best practices aligned with company needs and growth stage.
  • Create and maintain clear IT documentation, policies, and internal guidelines.
  • Support security initiatives such as access reviews, audits, and vendor risk assessments.
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and set expectations effectively.
  • Prioritize requests, manage trade-offs, and drive execution with minimal oversight.

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on experience in IT administration or IT lead/manager roles in modern SaaS or tech environments.
  • Proven experience acting as the go-to IT owner, including first IT hire or one-person IT team roles.
  • Strong, practical experience administering JumpCloud and Google Workspace in production.
  • Solid understanding of SSO concepts and technologies, including SAML, OIDC, SCIM, MFA, and group-based access control.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across macOS, Windows, office networks, and SaaS applications.
  • Comfort owning decisions end-to-end, from tool selection through rollout and ongoing maintenance.
  • High sense of ownership, autonomy, and bias for action.
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical teammates.
  • Good written English for documentation, policies, and vendor communication.
