About The Position

As a Junior Server Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our Java-based applications. Working closely with the DevOps team, you will ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of our production environment, primarily hosted on AWS Cloud. This position offers the opportunity to engage in challenging projects, leveraging modern infrastructure tools and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for Java-based applications. Develop tools and frameworks to optimize infrastructure performance.
  • Production Stability: Monitor and ensure the stability of the production environment. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • AWS Cloud Operations: Implement and manage AWS services, including EC2, S3, Redis and others. Optimize cloud resource utilization to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Collaboration with DevOps: Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to system monitoring and logging enhancements using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog and Elastic Search.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize application performance, focusing on scalability and reliability. Conduct regular load testing and performance tuning of Java applications.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement best practices for security within the AWS environment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science/Software Engineering
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud or any other cloud services - Advantage
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git - Advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem - solving skills.
