We are looking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by thoroughly analyzing customer requirements, creating and executing test plans, and identifying issues throughout the development lifecycle. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and customer representatives, to ensure that quality standards are met at every stage of the project.

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (6-10 years' experience) to join our Performance team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of custom automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling to ensure high-quality, scalable software delivery. You will collaborate closely with development, SRE and product teams, and drive automation-first practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain custom automations and inhouse- tools.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated testing and performance validation.
- Develop and maintain observability dashboards and monitoring solutions.
- Profile and analyze system performance (CPU, memory, DB, cache, network) to identify bottlenecks.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on performance/automation best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize code, infrastructure, and test coverage.
- Drive adoption of automation-first practices and performance culture across teams.
Mandatory Skills / Experience:
- Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, Go, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (test automation, developer tools, or CI/CD pipelines).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
- Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, k6, Locust, or equivalent) is a must.
- Experience with observability/monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
- Strong profiling and troubleshooting skills (CPU, memory, network, DB, cache).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to design reusable frameworks and internal tooling.
- Proven mentorship or technical leadership experience.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab).
Advantage Skills:
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of shift-left testing, performance-first practices, or automation best practices.
- Familiarity with distributed systems design and performance optimization.
- Experience with security or reliability automation.
- Comfortable in agile/DevOps environments.
