About the Role

As part of our Helios process scale-up, we are seeking a
Senior Process Engineer

to lead the physical integration of system components, execute initial testing, process validation, and prepare the systems for pilot plant deployment. This role is hands-on and critical to ensuring the process line meets performance expectations and management-defined KPIs. 

Key Responsibilities

  • System Integration

: Assemble and integrate mechanical, electrical, and control components into a cohesive process line.
- Pilot Readiness

: Design and conduct initial tests to validate system functionality and reliability.
- Execute the transition of multi-system product recipes and technologies from development to production, ensuring thorough validation and successful implementation of each integrated technology in the manufacturing process.
- KPI Delivery

: Monitor and optimize system performance to meet key performance indicators as defined by management.
- Reporting & Documentation

: Generate clear, structured reports on system status, test results, and performance metrics.
- Data Handling

: Work with basic process data, including logging, analysis, and interpretation to support decision-making.
- Tool Proficiency

: Use P&ID software (e.g., AutoCAD) to design, review, and update process schematics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and project management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in pilot plant or industrial system integration.
  • Experience in a full cycle process- from a prototype to a scaled-up systems-
    significant advantage
  • Proficiency in P&ID tools such as AutoCAD or similar.
  • Familiarity with ore beneficiation, pyrometallurgy or any other metallurgical processes-
    advantage.
