Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and well-connected 
Director of Publisher Acquisition
 to lead our efforts in expanding our global publisher network. This role is focused on identifying high-value publishers that are not currently in our ecosystem, building relationships at the senior level, and closing strategic content distribution agreements.

The ideal candidate is deeply embedded in the digital publishing industry, understands both the business and editorial sides of publishers, and has a proven track record of driving revenue and growth through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the publisher acquisition strategy and execution, with a focus on securing high-quality, in-demand content sources.
  • Identify and target premium publishers in key markets who are not yet part of our network.
  • Leverage personal industry relationships and networks to open doors at the decision-making level (CEO, CRO, Head of Digital, etc.).
  • Develop compelling partnership proposals tailored to publishers' audience and monetization goals.
  • Negotiate and close distribution agreements that maximize mutual value.
  • Collaborate with Content Operations, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new partners.
  • Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging content sources to maintain Nordot's competitive edge.
  • Represent Nordot at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in digital publishing, content licensing, business development, or strategic partnerships.
  • Established network of senior contacts within the publishing and media industry.
  • Strong understanding of publisher business models, including digital advertising, syndication, and audience development.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close complex content deals.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • International experience and multilingual skills are a plus.
