About the Role
We are looking for a
hands-on, strategic leader
to head and scale our mobile user acquisition and DSP operations. This is a key leadership role, reporting to the COO and working closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams. You will own the unit's performance and growth end-to-end — from defining the roadmap, building and managing the team, to delivering measurable business outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Take full ownership of the mobile UA and DSP business:
P&L, strategy, and performance
. - Build and execute
high-scale, results-driven user acquisition strategies
. - Lead and grow a team of media buyers, Ad Ops professionals, and DSP specialists.
- Oversee and optimize
media buying activities
across programmatic and other major channels. - Define tools and the tech roadmap in collaboration with R&D and leadership.
- Continuously optimize programmatic campaign execution processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- Work closely with BizDev, Product, and external partners to ensure alignment and flawless execution.
- Represent DataWave at industry events, conferences, and strategic partnerships.
Requirements
Background & Experience
- 5+ years
in mobile performance marketing —
must
. - Proven experience in
media buying
, including programmatic and large-scale UA campaigns. - Proven experience in
managing teams
and owning business goals (P&L, growth targets). - Deep understanding of AdTech platforms and tools, including
DSP
,
programmatic advertising
, and
Real-Time Bidding (RTB)
. - Proven experience in
large-scale User Acquisition
— from strategy to hands-on execution. - Familiarity with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in digital and programmatic advertising.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.
