About the Role

We seek a VP of R&D to lead our technology efforts and scale our engineering capabilities. This hands-on leadership role requires deep ad tech expertise, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to build scalable and efficient R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the technology vision and roadmap in alignment with Kueez's business goals.
  • Collaborate with C-level executives to prioritize and develop impactful R&D initiatives that drive business outcomes.

Team Managemen

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence.
  • Enhance collaboration across engineering, product, and other teams to deliver robust solutions.

Technology and Innovation

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable ad tech platforms and solutions, with a strong focus on performance optimization and real-time decision-making.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain Kueez's competitive edge. Promote best practices in software development, system architecture, and testing to ensure reliability and scalability.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor the R&D team's and project performance.
  • Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency through automation and process optimization.
  • Oversee budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for all R&D projects.

Experience:

  • 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles (e.g., VP R&D, CTO, Director of Engineering).
  • Proven experience building and leading teams in the ad tech, real-time bidding (RTB), or programmatic advertising industries is strongly preferred.
  • Strong track record of delivering large-scale, high-performance systems.

Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern full-stack frameworks.
  • Expertise in scalable architecture, cloud infrastructure, and big-data environments.
  • Familiarity with tools and practices for real-time decision-making and performance optimization.

Leadership:

  • Exceptional ability to align technical initiatives with business goals.
  • A hands-on leader who can effectively guide the team while getting into the technical details when necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with an eye for detail and strategic vision.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work across teams and with stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to balance innovation and execution.
