I am looking for a Senior Project Manager - to Lead a National Digital Transformation

Ness is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a groundbreaking and innovative government project: the establishment of nationwide, multi-channel digital systems, encompassing both on-premise and cloud infrastructure setup and application development.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the digital future of a critical government authority in Israel.
About the Role:
You will be at the helm of a strategic national initiative, responsible for the full lifecycle of a multi-channel government digital system – from establishment and development to implementation and ongoing management. This demanding role involves:
Leading and managing large, multi-disciplinary teams (tens of professionals) across both infrastructure (on-prem and cloud) and software development (Microsoft environment) domains.
Overseeing and coordinating external subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
Driving the project to successful completion, ensuring alignment with national objectives and high-quality delivery.
What We're Looking For (Threshold Requirements):
To excel in this pivotal role, you must meet the following essential criteria:
Minimum 8 years of cumulative project management experience within the last 12 years, specifically in establishing computing infrastructures (on-premise or cloud) and developing applications.
Proven experience leading at least two projects with a scope of at least 10 million ILS each.
Experience managing an operational project for a system serving over 1,000 distributed users across multiple sites, including more than 200 internal organizational users.
Demonstrated experience managing at least one project using an Agile methodology.
Exceptional representation, fluency, and presentation skills required for engaging with a large government client.
Experience managing integrated projects that combine both on-premise and cloud components.
Location & Security:
This position is based in Ra'anana, with frequent travel required to the client site in Modi'in.
Successful candidates will be required to pass a Level 2 government security clearance.
