Global Buyer – Metals

We are seeking a professional and motivated Global Buyer to join our procurement team. This is a dynamic and challenging role with responsibility for identifying, evaluating, and approving suppliers worldwide, with a focus on metals and plastics. The position involves direct collaboration with global suppliers, negotiation management, and familiarity with international market regulations.

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Buyer, preferably with global suppliers in metals and plastics.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (additional languages – an advantage).
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with suppliers in Asia, Europe, and the US – an advantage.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes – an advantage.
• Experience working with ERP systems – an advantage.

• Identify and qualify new global suppliers in the fields of metals and plastics.
• Evaluate, audit, and approve suppliers in line with company quality and compliance standards.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal terms and conditions.
• Work closely with internal departments including logistics, quality, and finance.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain long-term business relationships.
