Siemens Mobility was chosen to lead the electric train revolution in Israel as the manufacturer of the trains and their maintenance.
We are currently seeking seeking a Modification Manager for our Ashkelon Depot.
As Modification Manager, you will lead the designated area during the commissioning and warranty phases. You are responsible for modifications and rework, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, controlling, and coordinating all modification and finishing activities within the project
- Technical leadership of project-related team members
- Representing the Department within the overall project and core project team
- Ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and legal requirements
- Personnel and task planning, including defining required competencies
- Coordination of modifications and rework from factory delivery through to the end of the warranty phase.
- Budget responsibility and coordination of deviations with project management and controlling
- Collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
- Supporting claims against customers and suppliers
- Organizing logistics for modification materials and tools
- Support in Conducting safety briefings and preparing risk assessments
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Alternatively, extensive professional experience in the rail vehicle sector
Personal Competencies
- Strong communication and assertiveness skills
- Proficient English communication skills are required; German language skills are a plus.
- Organizational talent and leadership ability
