Technical Cloud Alliance – Team Manager
CONNACT helps technology companies establish, manage and optimize their multi-cloud partnership lifecycles with leading cloud providers – AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud (GCP).
Our focus is on increasing top-line revenue by building scalable sales and technical enablement funnels that leverage the cloud providers' partner networks, programs, and brand.
About the Role
As a Technical Cloud Alliance – Team Manager, you will lead a team that supports multiple technology companies (from start-ups to mature ISVs) in optimizing their strategic partnerships with the cloud providers.
You will drive alignment through technical integrations ("co-build"), use case development, specialization programs and Marketplace presence while ensuring technical excellence and business impact.
Your mission is to serve as a trusted technical advisor, accelerating the time-to-value of each cloud alliance partnership.
You'll manage and mentor a team of Technical cloud alliance while maintaining strong collaboration with both the partner companies and the cloud vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Technical Cloud Alliance team, ensuring alignment across multiple partner engagements.
- Drive and oversee the creation and maintenance of Technical Collaterals – including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, solution briefs and internal enablement materials.
- Provide Pre-Sales Support - supporting architecture design discussions, demos and proof-of-concept activities.
- Identify and evaluate new cloud programs, funding opportunities and service releases (Cloud Programs Discovery) to leverage for partner growth.
- Collaborate with high-level stakeholders such as CTOs, Product Managers, DevOps and Cloud Partner Solution Architects to maximize partnership outcomes.
- Review and refine cloud-facing materials (collaterals, blog posts, joint solution briefs) to ensure technical accuracy and positioning alignment.
- Deliver enablement sessions for both partner and cloud vendor teams, strengthening their technical and business understanding of the joint solutions.
- Build and expand relationships with new stakeholders across cloud vendors to promote partner visibility and capabilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-tech or IT environment (software vendor, startup, or cloud provider).
- Background in pre-sales engineering, technical program management or product management.
- Broad understanding of the Enterprise IT and Cloud market – key players, processes, and customer personas (CTO, CISO, etc.).
- Deep knowledge in at least one of the following domains: Cybersecurity, AI/ML, Storage, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Cloud Solution Architect certification or equivalent expertise (AWS or Azure).
- Strong business acumen, excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work independently while leading others.
Preferred:
- Experience in the Israeli startup ecosystem.
- Hands-on work with Cloud Marketplace integrations (AWS / Azure).
- Experience with program or project management.
- Managing audit or certification programs (SOC, ISO, etc.).
