Exciting role for an exceptional finance leader

We are seeking a skilled and sophisticated finance professional with proven multinational leadership experience to lead Lycored's finance function. This role requires the skill set to support a broad scope of multinational activities that includes sales, marketing, manufacturing, R&D, finance, IT and HR.

Position: VP Finance and CFO

Reports To: Lycored GM and ADAMA CFO

Key Responsibilities

  • Business and financial management of Lycored as a multinational industrial company, subordinate to ADAMA, a global publicly-traded parent company
  • Management of Lycored's accounting system at the level of a public company's accounting report
  • Generate management reporting, lead FP&A activities, improvement of the costing and pricing system, including costing and profitability analysis
  • Management of multi-currency financial system and generating cash flow
  • Responsibility for the budgetary, economic and operational control system and reporting of Lycored's commercial, operational, R&D and HR functions
  • Responsibility for international taxation, Israeli taxation and indirect taxation (customs) in cooperation with ADAMA's tax department
  • Implementing finance and operational policies and procedures that support Lycored's strategic direction and are aligned with ADAMA's financial and policy framework.
  • Leading the financial aspects of investment processes in fixed assets (construction, machinery, IT)
  • Preparing and presenting reports to the Board in relevant areas
  • Supporting negotiations of significant agreements in marketing and procurement.
  • Comprehensive risk management, including handling the group's insurance in cooperation with the parent company's management
  • Management of IT infrastructure team with ADAMA's IT team
  • Working in full alignment with key finance interfaces of ADAMA
  • Responsibility for payroll preparation system and supporting the People Department
    Deep involvement in M&A processes, from financial analysis and due diligence to negotiation and closing of legal agreements, including management of the post-sale/acquisition process.

Role Requirements

Education: Accounting, Certified Public Accountant, additional master's degree an advantage

Professional experience and knowledge:

  • Experience as a financial manager / CFO (preferably a group of companies) in industrial companies - at least 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Deep familiarity with manufacturing work processes including operations and supply chain
  • Experience working in public companies
  • Financial management of companies abroad
  • Experience in leading complex investments
  • Understanding and experience in managing cash flows, working with banks and currency hedging
  • Experience and understanding in direct taxation (income tax) in Israel and international taxation - transfer pricing, etc.
  • Understanding and experience working with complex ERP information systems
    Understanding of the salary system and labor-benefit relations

  • Ability to work and manage multinational and multicultural teams.
  • Broad business understanding in all aspects of the business.
  • Ability to go down to details while seeing the overall and broader picture.
  • High level of English fluency
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working with interfaces across the entire company and at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
