About the Role

Drive revenue growth for Merge Cruise by managing monetization strategies, VIP players, and LiveOps campaigns. This hands-on role combines strategic planning with operational execution, leveraging AI tools and data analysis to optimize player experiences and maximize revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Monetization & LiveOps

  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns, in-game events, and offer strategies

  • Configure events and content directly in game systems

  • Manage
    events
    economy and pricing strategies

  • Monitor events performance and make real-time adjustments

VIP & Whale Management

  • Develop and maintain VIP player programs with personalized offers and exclusive content

  • Monitor high-value player health metrics and prevent churn

  • Create targeted monetization strategies for different player segments

  • Ensure premium experience for top spenders

Data Analysis & Optimization

  • Analyze player behavior and spending patterns using SQL and BI tools

  • Leverage AI tools and workflows to uncover insights and automate reporting

  • Run A/B tests and optimize campaigns based on data

  • Build predictive models for player LTV and conversion

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work with game design on new monetization features

  • Partner with art team on promotional assets

  • Coordinate with UA team on player acquisition insights

  • Support product team with data-driven recommendations

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 2+ years in mobile game monetization or product management

  • Experience managing VIP/high-value customer segments

  • Strong analytical skills with SQL and Excel proficiency

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools for analysis and automation

  • Experience with LiveOps and campaign management

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Self-starter who thrives in startup environments

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with casual/merge games

  • Knowledge of Python/R for data analysis

  • Background in game economy design

  • Previous startup experience
