These programs address gaps and opportunities in the areas of translational research, tech transfer, growth & go-to-market strategies, talent and BD capabilities, directly resulting in fueling growth drivers. Through strategic ecosystem collaborations, national and international programs, 8400 amplifies Israel's assets to drive a HealthTech economic growth engine, accelerate global cure and strengthen the bridges between local and global ecosystems.
We are looking for the next 8400 CEO to lead the organization, together with its board of directors and executive team, in the next exciting and impactful phase.
About the Role:
We are looking for a CEO who is a seasoned leader and manager, that will be responsible for providing strategic, financial and operational leadership for the organization, closely coordinating and working with the Board of Directors, and the executive team. The CEO will lead both the day-to-day management, as well as long-term strategy with a strong objective to create value to the organization, its strategic partners and ecosystem stakeholders. His/her activities should be aligned with the org's mission & vision, while ensuring smooth and prompt execution, operational efficiency, financial stability, and impactful program delivery.
Experience:
● Proven track record as a senior executive. Ex CEO – advantageous.
● Strong acquaintance with the healthcare space and the HealthTech industry
● Experience in a leadership role within a non-profit organization - advantage
Key Responsibilities:
● Create, develop and enhance the 8400 strategy, establish measurable goals & objectives.
● Oversee executive leadership teams' day-to-day activities & operational plans.
● Foster an empowering, positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
● Fundraise for 8400 and lead key investor relations.
● Manage the annual budget, ensuring financial health and sustainability.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with the Network members, as well as with Israeli and global partners and stakeholders.
● Develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy to increase visibility and ensure consistent and effective messaging that aligns with the organization's brand.

● Financial & IR Acumen: Strong financial management and fundraising skills. Deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management
● Measurement and risk management: Strong ability and experience in management by KPIs. High sensitivity to risk management & mitigation plan
● Intercultural management: High Cultural Intelligence - Ability to lead effectively across cultures and ecosystems with people from different cultural backgrounds globally
● Interpersonal Skills: Strong networking and relationship-building skills, including: the ability to adapt, advocate, coach, collaborate, design/build, educate, engage. Strong communication skills with huge amounts of drive and passion
● Operational Skills: Excellent organizational and operational skills. Problem-Solving Skills. Strong multitasking capabilities and excellence in execution, hands on
● Growth Mindset: Passion for the organization's mission and values. Ability to drive innovative projects, impactful programs and lead change
● Languages: English and Hebrew- mother tongue or fluent. other languages – advantage
