Role: Own end-to-end Amazon listing performance: keyword research, strategy, copy, image briefs, and continuous optimization to drive ranking, CTR, and conversion for our products.

Type: Contract or Full-Time (remote)

Reports to: Growth/Marketplace Lead

What you'll do

Keyword Intelligence: Build primary/secondary keyword maps per ASIN using Helium 10/DataDive/Brand Analytics; cluster by intent and search volume; define canonical URL targets; track ranks weekly.

Listing Strategy: Translate audience/competitor insights into a clear listing plan (angle, objections, offer structure, social proof, FAQs, compliance notes).

Copy that Converts: Write titles, bullets, A+ copy, and backend terms that balance relevance + readability + TOS compliance; weave benefit-led messaging around the keyword plan.

Image Direction: Create precise image briefs (hero, infographic set, comparison, lifestyle, FAQ/objection, feature callouts). Work with designers/photographers to deliver assets on spec and on time.

A/B & Iteration: Run structured experiments (Manage Your Experiments and off-Amazon CTR tests) to improve CTR/CVR; document hypotheses, lift, and keep the winners.

Page Health & Compliance: Ensure no TOS violations, avoid suppressed terms, fix indexing issues, and maintain variation hygiene.

Performance Reporting: Own weekly dashboards: sessions, CTR, CVR, TACoS, keyword ranks, share of voice. Make decisions from the data—no vanity metrics.

Must-have experience

2–4+ years optimizing Amazon listings (not just "e-com in general"). You've taken listings from page 2–3 to page 1 and can show data.

Hands-on with Helium 10 (Cerebro/Frankenstein), DataDive, Amazon Brand Analytics, Product Opportunity Explorer, and basic Keepa analysis.

You can reverse-engineer competitor angles, identify missed intents, and build a crisp offer narrative.

You know how to brief creatives for images that sell (not pretty for pretty's sake).

Clear, concise English. You write like a human, not like a keyword blender.

Comfortable with SOPs, version control, and experiment logs.

Nice to have

Experience with A+ Premium, video storyboarding, and UGC direction.

Basic HTML for A+ structure and alt text best practices.

Familiarity with international marketplaces and localization.

How we'll measure you (KPIs)

Ranking: Top-10 for the primary keyword within 45–60 days (new) or lift of +5–15 ranks (existing), depending on budget/competition.

CTR: +20–50% improvement on main keywords after image/title iterations.

CVR: +1–3 pp improvement post copy/A+ overhaul (product dependent).

Indexing: 95%+ of targeted long-tail cluster indexed within 14 days.

Documentation cadence: Weekly report + experiment log, no exceptions.
