In this role, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient daily operation of the resort, ensuring we deliver outstanding products and services in line with Six Senses brand standards and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Work strategically with the General Manager to set clear goals, procedures, and long-term direction for the resort, supporting end-to-end operations.
- Ensure consistency with Six Senses' vision, service philosophy, and quality benchmarks.
- Stay updated on industry trends and identify opportunities to enhance our guest experience.
- Regularly assess and elevate our products and services, incorporating Six Senses' wellness and sustainability principles.
- Guarantee exceptional guest experiences from pre-arrival through departure, including effective service recovery.
- Maintain strong on-site presence, reviewing all guest and host areas for quality, safety, and compliance with LQA standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of villas, public areas, and heart-of-house spaces, ensuring timely completion of maintenance and improvement work.
- Lead a team of department heads, offering clear direction, coaching, and feedback to support operational excellence and career development.
- Assist the General Manager in achieving or exceeding revenue targets and cost-control objectives.
- Identify opportunities to elevate guest experiences and collaborate across teams to implement improvements.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment while ensuring adherence to legal, ethical, and brand requirements.
- Maintain smooth communication and collaboration between all departments.
- Partner with marketing, sales, and public relations teams to support revenue generation and brand visibility.
- Engage with media partners and the local community as needed.
- Handle guest complaints and lead service recovery efforts.
- Promote a strong revenue-focused culture among all hosts.
- Ensure ethical operations and compliance with all local regulations.
- Monitor departmental budgets to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
- Support the General Manager with financial reporting, forecasting, and daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual budget processes.
- Complete all required corporate reporting and submit legally required documentation related to operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager and liaise with the corporate home office as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Resort Manager in a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong background in luxury hospitality, including substantial experience in Food & Beverage operations.
- Deep understanding of luxury lifestyle standards and experience working with diverse international clientele, while demonstrating sensitivity to local culture.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to build strong, positive relationships with hosts.
- Fluent in English and Hebrew.
- Legally eligible to work in Israel.
