About the Job

We're looking for a UX/UI Artist to join the Duckies team- a talented, passionate group shaping a brand-new game from the ground up. As a member of the Art team, you'll help shape the look and feel of our game, work closely with the Product  team and be responsible for the user experience, visual design concepts and game user interface.

Responsibilities

  • Take full creative ownership and closely work with various teams and stakeholders to understand feature mechanics and requirements
  • Design fun and polished intuitive user interfaces that are consistent with the game's art style and tone
  • Share and discuss UX/UI solutions with peers to push forward the game's visual language and design
  • Create mockups, prototypes and animations to communicate your vision and ideas

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in mobile games interface design or equivalent
  • Impressive portfolio demonstrating excellent UX/UI skills, creativity and attention to details
  • Vast knowledge of color theory, composition, typography, illustration and animation
  • Experience with relevant software: Affinity, Photoshop, Illustrator and Spine (or similar)
  • Team player: You are accountable and dependable, help others where possible, have strong communication skills and willing to accept and share feedback
  • Understanding of product needs and goals, passion for games and interfaces
