About the role

Managing the procurement process for goods and services required by the Org focused on in-direct purchasing and R&D materials with emphasis on cost-effectiveness.

This role involves negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement purchasing process & policies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure all procurement activities meet SLA.
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities including both PO's and invoicing

Vendor Management:

  • Manage AVL (Approved Vendors List) and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

Negotiations and Contracts:

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best deals.
  • Manage procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Logistics and Inventory:

  • Manage internal import and export activities

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Academic degree in related field
  • Proven 5+ experience as a Purchasing Expert
  • Fluency in English

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (NetSuite and Excel)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-driven with a strong understanding of procurement processes and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements – an advantage
