replantin', an agtech startup is looking for a part-time Student in Electronics / Computer Engineering to mange an IoT Project: Support & Configuration of Raspberry Pi Board with Home Assistant for Multi-Sensor Machine Control

Role Description

We are looking for a part-time motivated student in Electronics or Computer Engineering to join a hands-on IoT project. The role focuses on supporting, configuring, and integrating a Raspberry Pi board with Home Assistant software to manage a machine equipped with multiple sensors (climate, water, humidity, air-conditioning, etc.).

Responsibilities


• Assist in setting up and configuring a Raspberry Pi board.


• Connect, calibrate, and integrate various IoT sensors (climate, water, humidity, temperature, AC).


• Configure Home Assistant for monitoring and automation scenarios.


• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.


• Provide ongoing support for hardware/software integration issues.

Requirements

  • 2nd/3rd year student in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi or similar platforms (Arduino, ESP32, etc.).
  • Familiarity with sensor communication protocols (I2C, SPI, GPIO).
  • Basic knowledge of Home Assistant or other IoT platforms – an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, quick learner, and problem-solver.

Job Scope
