We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:

As a intern software engineer in PayPal's crypto & blockchain organization you will be an active member in development of PayPal's cutting edge blockchain platform.
You will learn and contribute to various areas within our business domain and tech stack.
Key Responsibilities

• Coding and automating testing framework in a back-end platorm.

• Maintaining the teams core projects.

• Analyze and improve existing functionality.

• Be an active contributer to PayPal's crypto & blockchain offering.

Job Description:

Requirement

• Current student of computer science or similar field.
• At least 2-3 remaining semesters before graduation (or more).
• Coding proficiency in at least one programing language (e.g Python, Java, C++, C#)
• Strong fundamentals in data structurs, basic algorithms, and OS concepts.
• PGA of 80 or above from a well known university.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Ownership mindset is a must and key to this role

Preferred Qualification:

Nice to Have

• Previous experience as a software engineer.
• Familiarity with blockchain technologies.
• Experience working with GCP.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and distributed systems.
