We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer Developer to join our platform management team. This team is responsible for the development, scaling, and maintenance of our core platform, which serves as the backbone for our product offerings.

You'll work on both backend and frontend technologies, designing and implementing features that drive our platform's growth, stability, and performance.

Key responsibilities

Lead, design and build highly scalable and high-quality web applications by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processesRaise the bar on engineering excellence by improving standard methodologies, producing best in class of code, documentation, testing, and monitoringIdentifying and resolving technical issues and performance bottlenecks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Product managers, DevOps, and Support) to ensure smooth feature releases and platform stabilityStay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Implement improvements and leverage new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.

Required skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.4+ years of experience as a Full Stack developer with strong backend experience in either or Python, and experience with modern frontend frameworksSolid understanding of database management (SQL/NoSQL) and proficiency in writing efficient database queries.Experience in building scalable and resilient systems using microservices, with expertise in service decomposition, communication patterns (e.g., REST,event driven), and managing inter-service dependenciesProven experience in designing robust scalable RESTful APIs Experience with AWS services and deployment in a cloud environment.Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-quality productsIndependent, autodidact with excellent problem-solving and passion for learning cutting-edge technologiesOutstanding interpersonal skills

Advantage

Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.Previous experience in a fast-paced startup, ideally within a SaaS company, and familiarity with the unique challenges of scaling a product.Previous experience working as a platform engineer — a major plus
