A leading technology company in the defense sector is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team

The role includes end-to-end responsibility for product design and development from concept through development and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, development, and support of products from concept through production transfer
  • Provide engineering support throughout the product lifecycle, including design, manufacturing processes, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
  • Develop new products based on market requirements and continuously improve existing products
  • Manage product structures (BOM) and provide engineering support to supply chain, applications engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and subcontractors

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering - mandatory
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in product design and development - mandatory
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and product development processes
  • Experience with castings and motion/drive systems - strong advantage
  • Previous experience in an industrial or defense company - significant advantage
  • High-level Hebrew and English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and experience with PDM systems
