The IT Division is seeking a
Senior Systems Analyst with project management experience
to lead the development of core systems at Egged.

This role involves close collaboration with business clients, development teams, and system users. Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, writing specification documents, designing data models and business processes, initiating and driving projects, and overseeing development, testing, and implementation processes.

Reporting to:

Head of Public Transportation & Maintenance Department within the IT Division.

Requirements:

  • Relevant academic degree – Computer Science, Industrial Engineering & Management
  • At least
    5 years of experience
    in systems analysis and project management
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale projects and core systems
  • Demonstrated experience in:
  • Writing requirement documents and detailed specifications
  • Creating process diagrams
  • Designing data models (ERD)
  • Experience with complex process and interface design
  • Strong analytical and systemic thinking skills
  • Critical thinking, attention to detail, and independent learning abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to work outside regular hours when necessary
  • Familiarity with
    Oracle
    or other relational databases
  • SQL query writing
    – an advantage
  • ERD diagram creation
    – an advantage
