The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of Medical and Scientific Affairs (M&SA) excellence in LOC Israel and if required leadership within the Central Eastern Europe (CEE) Business Unit M&SA organization in order to deliver business results and ensure effective deployment of Safety / Compliance and Medical Governance framework HALEON business.
This role will work closely with the CEE BU M&SA Lead to establish and execute the local M&SA strategy and ensure delivery of short-term and long-term medical goals and objectives.
- With oversight from CEE BU Medical and Scientific Affairs Lead provide expert medical input to LOC / Area regulatory applications, new product development and clinical activities, and business development and acquisition initiatives.
- Support to market information on data collection and analysis of HALEON products and competitors.
- Provide medical and technical training about HALEON products and competitors.
Act as HALEON medical voice in all interactions with consumers, physicians, medical societies, institutions and government bodies. Includes not limited to:
To medically support customer enquiry systems which respond to enquiries and complaints.
- Medical input to answer consumers relations questions and complaints as required.
Working with the medical information department to evaluate consumer contacts to identify trends and product's opportunities/ weaknesses.
Oversight of Medical Information including Collecting, analyzing and communicating medical information trends to regulatory, medical, sales, marketing and commercial functions, enabling trend identification complying with all relevant regulations and professional standards
- Ensure those HALEON activities she/he has responsibility for are conducted in accordance with applicable law and Company policies.
- With oversight from CEE BU Medical and Scientific Affairs Lead responsible for medical activities including but not restricted to:
- Partner with Pharmacovigilance team in order to ensure that HALEON activities are conducted in accordance with applicable law and Company policies.
- Development and medical approval of accurate, technically supported and
consumer appealling claims.
- Review and approval of promotional materials.
- Medical support to Drive Profit Brands especially locally lead ones.
- Medical support and close cooperation directly with CEE Category Marketing Team for selected Brands.
- Why you?
- Medical and Scientific Affairs industry experience (at least 3 years) operating in a commercial environment, preferably in the Pharma, OTC and/or Nutritional space.
- Minimum 4 years of strong, multi-discipline experience including clinical development, operations, project management or other functions in order to act decisively to manage the operational needs of the Global Medical Community with minor direction.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills. Proactive, with ability to anticipate and plan, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions and respond to tight timelines.
- Ability to manage and influence discussions with others.
- Ability and eagerness to challenge status quo; make quick decisions; and lead/operate successfully in an empowered organization.
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiations skills.
- Ability to facilitate alignment and collaboration across groups/regions.
- Demonstrated organizational skills. Proactive, with ability to anticipate and plan, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions and respond to tight timelines.
- Ability to manage and influence discussions with others. People management experience.
- Ability and eagerness to challenge status quo; make decisions with emerging or incomplete data; and operate successfully in an empowered organization.
- Strong communication skills – writing and speaking; including influencing and negotiations skills. Ability to facilitate alignment and collaboration across groups/regions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong computer literacy including competent in Microsoft Office software.
- Strong evidence of the behaviors articulated in the Haleon individual expectations.
