We are looking for a highly motivated, focused, and energetic bioanalytical researcher who is seeking experience in a young, dynamic startup environment. This role will be responsible for supporting the activities of drug discovery initiation of pre-clinical studies through the filing of INDs.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, writing and reviewing study procedures/plans, amendments, and schedules that define all bioanalytical activities.
- Executing bioanalytical analysis plans
- Developing and optimizing new strategies to process cellular and tissue samples for analysis by Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS)
- Processing, interpreting, and presenting raw data to enable thoughtful decision making.
- Preparing reports that document all bioanalytical procedures and results.
- Learning and implementing new techniques and technologies, as relevant
Requirements:
- A master's degree (or higher) in analytical chemistry, organic chemistry (an advantage), biochemistry, or another close scientific field
- At least two years of experience in pharma/biotech
- Hands-on laboratory experience with biological sample extraction and preparation approaches.
- Processing cellular and tissue samples for analysis by Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS) - previous hands-on experience is a must.
- Developing qualitative and quantitative methods and validation (GMP) for the analysis of pharmaceutical products in biological matrices by LC-MS/MS
- including method troubleshooting - an advantage.
- Proven experience in working with DLS for the characterization of LNPs/liposomes
- Expertise in data analysis, a robust understanding of lipid-based nanoparticle systems and their applications in drug delivery, as well as proficiency in
- experimental design, execution, and troubleshooting - an advantage.
- Established experience in using ELN
- Ability to work with interdisciplinary project teams, agility learning,
- communicate clearly, and follow project timelines.
