Role Overview
The Catalyst Director leads multi-stakeholder innovation projects such as innovation
ecosystem workshops, open innovation processes, etc. The role combines strategy,
business development, and hands-on program delivery: designing impactful innovation
processes, developing innovation ecosystems, securing partnerships, and connecting
technology solutions with market needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Program Leadership – Design and manage open innovation programs, from
designing the process to execution.
• Lead Innotal – manage IDF's ATAL open innovation program, implementing
solutions in health, transportation, food, and logistics. Link >>
• Partnership Development – Build strategic relationships with corporations,
startups, investors, NGOs, and academia, in Israel and globally.
• Business Growth – Identify opportunities, develop proposals, secure funding, and
manage strategic accounts.
• Thought Leadership – manage the Institute's knowledge and represent the Institute
at local and global forums.
• Facilitation & Engagement – Design and lead workshops, roundtables,
hackathons, and innovation events.
• Support III's innovation ecosystems – provide profesional guidance in key events
of EcoMotion, GorwingIL, PLANETech, and AquaculTech.
Qualifications
• 4+ years in innovation ecosystems, business development, or program
management.
• Proven experience in multi-stakeholder program design and delivery.
• Strong critical thinking skills, business writing, proposal, and presentation skills.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English. Additional languages an advantage.
