IDE Technologies, a global leader in water desalination and treatment, is looking for an Instrumentation Engineer with hands-on design experience in instrumentation from an engineering or industrial company with the ability to work under pressure, and analytical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Specification and design of instrumentation equipment, preparation of instrumentation specifications.
  • Wiring design from instrumentation to control equipment.
  • Preparation of HOOK-UP drawings.
  • Reading and understanding flow diagrams, P&IDs, and isometrics.
  • Supervision and inspection of installations.
  • Managing a team of instrumentation engineers in Israel and abroad, including leading global engineering team meetings and sprints.
  • Working with various interfaces inside and outside the organization, including managing subcontractors based on project needs.

Location: Kadima (on site)

Reporting to: Head of Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Department.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant field – required
  • Experience: As an instrumentation engineer in the process industry – required
  • Experience managing employees – an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in programming PLCs – an advantage
  • Experience in global companies – significant advantage
  • Familiarity with instrumentation design software such as SPI (Intools), AutoCAD
  • High level of English
  • Willingness to travel abroad for commissioning of facilities
