We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Mechanical Engineer
with 5+ years of experience in product design and development, particularly in
CAD design (SolidWorks)
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with
sheet metal, plastic and casting parts
, and a passion for
prototyping
and innovation. Additional knowledge of
instrumentation
,
PCB and electronics integration
, and
field support (RMA, reporting)
is highly desirable. This role also supports
New Product Introduction (NPI)
efforts, working cross-functionally with electrical engineers, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and assemblies using
    SolidWorks, Siemens NX, and Fusion 360
    .
  • Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and BOMs for manufacturing and prototyping.
  • Develop mechanical solutions using
    sheet metal fabrication, casting, and other manufacturing processes
    .
  • Lead or contribute to
    rapid prototyping efforts
    and iterate designs based on test feedback.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate
    PCBs and electronic components
    into mechanical designs.
  • Provide engineering support for
    NPI
    projects from concept through production.
  • Support
    RMA analysis
    , investigate field failures, and drive design improvements based on field feedback.
  • Participate in
    DFM/DFA reviews
    and work closely with suppliers to ensure manufacturability.
  • Generate technical documentation, including specifications, assembly instructions, and test reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience
    in mechanical design and product development.
  • Proficiency in
    CAD software
    : SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Fusion 360.
  • Experience designing
    sheet metal
    and
    casted parts
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    prototyping techniques
    (3D printing, machining, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of mechanical fundamentals: GD&T, tolerancing, thermal management, materials selection.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Educational background or work experience in
    instrumentation
    or
    mechatronics
    .
  • Basic understanding of
    PCB design principles
    and
    electronic component integration
    .
  • Experience supporting
    RMA processes
    , root cause analysis, and implementing design corrections.
  • Involvement in
    New Product Introduction (NPI)
    processes.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems and version control for CAD files.
